Aims and Background: There are huge scientific data bases in the world which index contents of their articles and provide them to the researchers in an easier way. These indexers increase the rate of citation by increasing the chance of being seen and read, and finally increase the impact factor of journals. Observing publishing rules, on time publishing, and publishing high quality articles play an important role in admission of journals in data bases.
As one of the ultimate goals of publishing a journal, increasing a journal visibility by indexing in well-known databases is considered at the highest point of our efforts in Kowsar for all journals. To index a journal, first we need to publish high quality materials and then do it on time in a regular basis by applying in the correct place in the correct time. To find out the progress of some journals indexed in ISI, we run a project in this field for each journal.
A list of major indexing sources can be found here.
